Our First Market

Since we launched early this year, we have been trying to find ways to get the word out about the Earth Lounger. Normally, I would be outside and using the Lounger at our favorite places around town, but since the weather hasn't been in our favor, we decided to sign up and participate in some markets!

I am excited about this idea, and it is so much fun to hang out and talk to adults and meet other cool vendors. So this past weekend, we had our very first debut at Lost Winds Brewery and guess what?...It rained! Yes, the entire time. 

I am hoping this is a sign of good luck.  There is a saying, that if it rains on your wedding day it is supposed to be a good sign, so I am thinking that the rain on our first market day is a lucky omen and things will only get better and better from here.

Regardless of the rain, it was a good trial run. I met some really nice people who offered me a vegetarian Empanada, had some good chats with patrons, and also had a beer with a couple of friends who braved the rain to come and visit me.

All in all, it was a fun day in the rain, and I am looking forward to our next event.
