WHAT IS THE AVKARA EARTH LOUNGER USED FOR?

The AVKARA Earth Lounger is a three-layered mat with an attached oversized backrest that can be inflated so that any person can sit comfortably while sitting on the ground. The Earth Lounger’s backrest can be inflated quickly using any air pump, providing comfort and ergonomic back support along with the convenience of being able to set up and get relaxing quickly. 

With carefully chosen materials for optimized weight and size, the Earth lounger is a great replacement for that bulky beach chair. The Earth Lounger rolls up small and is lightweight allowing easy transportation and storage.

The Earth Lounger fits perfectly into any car, or suitcase and can easily be taken on a bike ride. The Earth Lounger can be your perfect companion to elevate your everyday adventures!


WHAT MAKES THE EARTH LOUNGER DIFFERENT?

The Earth Lounger was designed for anyone seeking a comfortable option for relaxing without the hassle of a traditional beach chair. The Earth Lounger can be your lightweight travel companion in any environment you choose. Whether you’re headed to the beach, the park, a concert in the park, sitting poolside, hiking to a remote lake, or in the comfort of your own home, the Earth Lounger is the answer to creating a comfortable lounging experience. 


WHAT IS THE EARTH LOUNGER MADE OF?

The Earth Lounger is designed to make your experience outdoors a comfortable one, therefore we layered a polyester fabric, with a sponge foam in the middle with a PEVA waterproof barrier on the bottom of the oversized mat. These materials were carefully chosen to avoid having sand stick and to also keep you clean and dry from the elements while sitting on the lounger. The materials are durable, clean, and easy to care for.


WHAT CAN I EXPECT WHEN I GET MY LOUNGER?

The Earth Lounger is equipped with a few accessories to help make your lounging experience more comfortable and helpful. With your purchase, you will expect items such as; one lounger with an oversized backrest, a removable bladder, a carrying bag, and four ground stakes that will provide support for those windy days. 


WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CARE FOR MY LOUNGER?

You can care for The Earth Lounger in three ways:

    1. For a minor cleanup, SHAKE OFF the day, and please make sure your lounger is dry before storing.              
    2. For a bit more of a cleanup, WIPE DOWN with a damp cloth (avoid alcohol) 
    3. For a major cleanup, HAND WASH with soap and water and hang dry. Please make sure your lounger is completely dry before storing the lounger.  

    WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO INFLATE MY LOUNGER?

    The Earth Lounger is equipped with a removable bladder. To get started, insert the bladder with the valve positioned to the left and facing out into the velcro opening of the backrest. Make sure to lay the bladder flat inside the backrest to allow the bladder to inflate and fit properly inside.  

    Using any pump with the proper attachment, the bladder can inflate within two minutes.

    AVKARA also sells manual foot pumps and rechargeable Mini-pumps online.

    *If you have a pump that runs on electricity or battery, it is safe to use, with the correct attachment on the valve. (DO NOT OVER-INFLATE THE BLADDER)

    The Earth Lounger's bladder is not capable to withstand a large volume of air. Therefore, please be careful and pay attention to the pump as you fill the bladder with air. 

    AVKARA will not be responsible for a bladder that blows a seam or gets punctured, BUT, we get it...things happen, so we provide a patch for small repairs. ***Please note: The patches are for surface punctures only, and not for blown seams.


    A FEW NOTES.

    We recommend filling the bladder to your desired comfort and ideal ergonomic support, which is about a recommended fill of 85%-90%.

    Please note that it may take a couple of attempts while inflating the bladder to determine your desired support and comfort, and please DO NOT over-inflate the bladder. 

    Our bladder has a large valve that allows for easy inflation and quick deflation, using any manual pump or any electric pumps for quicker inflation

    WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO DEFLATE MY LOUNGER?

    To flatten the backrest, simply, open the valve all the way, and to help speed things up, press down slowly on the backrest to help flatten for optimized storage size. 


    WHAT DOES THE SHIPPING LOOK LIKE?

    We offer shipping services on all domestic orders within the 48 contiguous United States (excluding PO Boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico).

    If you would like expedited shipping, 2-day and next-day shipping options are available at additional rates. Orders placed before midnight PST will be processed the same business day. Please note that this does not include weekends, holidays, or dealer purchases.

    If you order after midnight PST on a Friday, your order will be shipped out on the following Monday.

    Please note that it can take 1-3 days for your tracking information to become available. Our shipping carriers are experiencing unpredicted volumes and changes to procedures that are creating delays nationwide.


    WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?

    Orders shipped within the contiguous 48 states are estimated to arrive in 3-5 business days.

    The good news is that most packages will arrive within the timeline chosen at checkout. For orders encountering delays, in most cases, the package will arrive only a day or two outside of the expected timeline. Please note, it can take 1-3 days for your tracking information to become available. Our shipping carriers are experiencing unprecedented volumes and changes to procedures that are creating delays nationwide.

    PO BOXES AND APO/FPO ADDRESSES

    Deliveries to PO Boxes are estimated to arrive in 3-5 business days. Deliveries to APO/FPO addresses are estimated to arrive in 1-3 weeks. Fees are calculated at checkout. 

    Shipping to a U.S. Military Address

    Please contact us for U.S. Military orders.

     ***We are happy to ship to any APO or FPO address! At checkout, follow these steps:

    1. Fill in the APO Address using the PSC and Number in ‘Address Line 1’
    2. Fill in the Box Number (BOX#) in ‘Address Line 2.’
    3. Select your region from one of the following in the ‘State’ drop-down menu: Armed Forces Africa, Armed Forces Americas, Armed Forces Canada, Armed Forces Europe, Armed Forces Middle East, or Armed Forces Pacific
    4. Select “United States” in the country field at checkout.

    Please note that APO/FPO orders can take up to 2 days to process before they are shipped out.


    HOW DO I MAKE A RETURN?

    If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please email us at support@avkaralounger.com and we will be happy to assist. We will provide a FREE pre-paid return label for any order shipped within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states) and will process a full refund back to the original payment method, less original shipping costs.

    Return your order to us within 30 days of when the order was shipped. (Please keep in mind that we only accept unused Loungers in original packaging and all tags must be attached.)

    Customers from outside the contiguous 48 United States are not eligible for return.

    Returns are only accepted for products purchased from avkaralounger.com. We do not accept returns from 3rd party distributors.

    After 30 days, if the product is unused and in original condition with original tags attached, we can offer store credit only. Customers will be responsible for shipping costs for returns past 30 days.


    WARRANTY POLICY

    We warranty each and every Earth Lounger to be free of manufacturing defects, and we will replace any lounger with a new product with proof of these flaws at the time of delivery. AVKARA does not provide a warranty on products with normal wear or misuse. If your EarthLounger was damaged due to misuse, our customer service team can analyze the damage and may be able to suggest options for the customer to remedy. Warranty claims are not applicable to countries outside the contiguous U.S. and Canada. All international orders are final.

    KIND REMINDERS.

     When using the Earth Lounger:

    >Use on a flat surface.

    >Never submerge into water, such as a pool or large body of water.

    >The Earth Lounger is not a life-saving tool or floatation device. 

    >To prevent the bladder from failing, never jump on the Earth Lounger.

    >Never use anything sharp on the Earth Lounger to prevent puncturing the bladder.

    >Use adult supervision with children present.

    >Never place anything other than the provided bladder into the backrest of the Earth Lounger.

    >Shake out, Wipe down, or Hand wash only. *Do not put the Earth Lounger into the washing machine or the dryer. 

    >If the Earth Lounger gets wet, make sure it is completely dry before storing.
